To ensure a safe, disciplined, and productive learning environment, Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Shyamdih expects all students and parents to adhere to the following rules and regulations:

1. General Discipline

  • Students must maintain discipline, punctuality, and good conduct at all times within the school premises.
  • Respect for teachers, staff members, and fellow students is mandatory.
  • Any form of misbehavior, bullying, or disrespectful conduct will invite disciplinary action.

2. Attendance & Punctuality

  • Regular attendance is compulsory. Students should attend school on all working days.
  • Late arrival without valid reason may lead to disciplinary measures.
  • Leave of absence must be informed in advance through a written application by parents/guardians.

3. School Uniform

  • Wearing the prescribed school uniform neatly and correctly is compulsory on all school days and during school functions.
  • Students must maintain personal cleanliness and proper grooming.

4. Academic Responsibilities

  • Students are expected to complete classwork and homework regularly.
  • Active participation in academic and co-curricular activities is encouraged.
  • Use of unfair means during examinations is strictly prohibited.

5. Examination & Promotion

  • Students must appear in all examinations and assessments as per the academic calendar.
  • Promotion to the next class will be based on performance, attendance, and conduct, in accordance with school and CBSE norms.

6. School Property

  • Students must take care of school property, furniture, books, and equipment.
  • Any damage caused intentionally will be recoverable from the concerned student/parent.

7. Mobile Phones & Electronic Devices

  • Carrying mobile phones, smart watches, or electronic gadgets is strictly prohibited unless permitted by the school authorities.
  • The school will not be responsible for loss of any prohibited items brought to the campus.

8. Health & Safety

  • Students must follow all safety instructions issued by the school.
  • In case of illness, parents should inform the school and avoid sending the child until fully fit.
  • The school reserves the right to take necessary action in case of emergencies.

9. Parent–School Cooperation

  • Parents are requested to maintain regular communication with the school regarding their child’s progress.
  • Parents should ensure that their ward follows school rules both inside and outside the campus.

10. Amendment of Rules

  • The school management reserves the right to modify or amend the rules and regulations whenever necessary in the best interest of students and the institution.
